770-Tree-Guy safely did the job no one else wanted to and did it for a fair price compared to the rest. I had two large dead trees removed, one oak and one silver maple. The big thing was removing the limbs from the live oak over my house and not having to take down the whole tree. This is the third time that I have had Aaron and his team do work at my house and it is very likely that I will have them back next spring for year 4. They have been good at helping me manage the tree growth around my house and in getting the tree canopy looking really good. We have selectively taken down a few trees but have done extensive pruning of the canopy and the result has been great.

We recently called 770-Tree-Guy to remove a tree in our yard that was touching our house. We were very impressed with the service we received. The day I called for an estimate Cindy was friendly and Aaron was able to come out the same day and provide us with an estimate. After speaking with Aaron we realized we wanted more trees removed than expected so we opted for the full day rate. The crew that worked at our house was exceptional. When I got home and saw my yard I was amazed and what all was accomplished by a 4-man crew, 10 trees removed and yard nice and clean. What impressed me the most was this ... I spoke to one of the young men in the crew and thanked him for his hard work and his response was, "We just want to get everything on your list done so you are happy". What impressed my husband the most was this ... When he went to pay the foreman of the crew, the foreman asked my husband, "Are you satisfied?", before [they] accepted his money!! That is true customer service!! Cindy then called a few days later to follow up. We will be using them again for pruning, etc. ... Thank you Cindy, Aaron and crew. In the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew, my aunt's house was slowly buckling under the pressure of two huge pines and a live oak that had fallen on the roof of her house. Aaron and his crew (who came to Hilton Head to help out knowing there were many folks like us needing help) saw the severity of the situation and showed up sooner than we thought possible to begin removal. They did an amazing job. They were great to work with, and I would call them again in an instant if necessary. They were all very friendly and put our minds at ease about the serious nature of the work that was about to be done. They cleared the two massive pines with no additional damage to the house, which I thought an impossible task. And most of all their price was very fair considering the desperation people here were feeling ... they could have taken advantage of the situation ... but they didn't. Had them remove 11 trees from my yard. Very happy with the price quoted. Work has done fast, safe and correct. All debris was removed from the yard and the yard was left spotless. Would not hesitate to use again and will refer them to others.

We had approximately 15 trees that we wanted removed and emailed 770-Tree-Guy. It was able to schedule an appointment within just a few days. Aaron was right on schedule and the price was well within reason, even less than I was expecting. On the days that we had scheduled for the removal the weather was supposed to be rough, but the crew showed up early and got started. They had 8 trees removed by noon when the rain picked up. They managed a couple more the first day and took care not to damage a tree that I really wanted to save, even though it made the removal particularly difficult.

I forgot to mention to Aaron that I didn't have a double gate, so the crew had to remove two panels of our fence, including a post that was concreted into the ground. The crew took care not to damage any parts and had them all back in place by the end of the day.

I was thoroughly impressed with the efficient and professional demeanor of the entire team and will use them if I need trees removed in the future.

Had two trees removed, uplifts and canopy trims on several others. The crew worked very fast and were careful not to damage my deck, walkway and fence, despite working in close proximity to them. It was an extremely windy day, I couldn't believe they climbed!

Great customer service - I had 1 dead pine tree that needed to be cut down; I guess this is too small of a job for most tree services. I did 3 online "contact me" forms from local tree services; only 770-Tree-Guy contacted me. I then called 2 tree services to get a quote. One came out and was a lot higher, "$500 is our minimum job". The other called me back about the job and said he'd call back to set up an appointment to give a quote. It's been almost 3 weeks, and he hasn't called back. 770-Tree-Guy was delayed several times (weather related) but every time they needed to reschedule they called me back to keep me updated. I've already told several people that need tree work to give them a call.

Our nextdoor neighbor had some very tall/large trees removed from her grove out back because they presented a hazard to her house. I had a very tall/large dead oak that we decided to remove while they were there. Because it was too hazardous to climb the guys brought in their lift and cut it down safely in sections. They were a seriously professional, safety-conscious but still a merry bunch of men. Everything they cut down they thoroughly removed right down to raking and blowing off the removal site. Their efficiency in removing large timber quickly was something to behold. I highly recommend them, especially if the job is large or hazardous.

WE LOVE 770-TREE-GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had made several phone calls to different tree companies to get estimates to have a dead tree cut down. We saw one tree service in the neighborhood and asked if they could stop by to look and when they came by they were wanting to cut down all 7 birches in the backyard, one beautiful shade tree in the front and tried to bundle those trees with the dead tree for 4000.00!!!!!!!!!! My 7 birches were all healthy and my beautiful shade tree was healthy as well. I hate cutting trees and it didn’t make sense to me why he wanted to cut down and take away all my shade in the backyard. After our consultation we tried researching about this company and couldn’t find the person or anything about the business anywhere on the internet. Nothing that made us confident to chose this person. We didn’t find any kind of licenses or protection for us if anything were to happen.

So when we found 770-Tree-Guy, we were so impressed by the professionalism and knowledge they had. They advertise, they are bonded and listened. They are very professional and conscientious. They said my beautiful shade tree and 7 birches were perfect, that there was nothing wrong with them and agreed that the tree we had to cut down was dead and was a hazard to not only us but the neighbors; it needed to be taken down. I noticed one of my large pines was dying. Their arborist was there on schedule, was very extremely knowledgeable and professional. He didn't try to up sell me on removing any other trees. The crew was also knowledgeable, very professional and courteous. They arrived as scheduled, quickly removed the tree and cleaned up all the debris. The tree was in the midst of other plantings and trees and difficult to get to. They were very careful not to damage any other plants and left the area neater than when they came. I will definitely use them again.

My review is way past due. I owe 770-Tree-Guy/Aaron an apology for being so late. My family and I moved down to Georgia over a year ago and immediately began working on building a pool, deck and playground for the kids. I was too busy and had a lot going on to follow through with a review!! We had over 80 trees in the way of completing our project. Aaron scheduled a visit and we discussed the terms of the job. I was quoted a fair price and accepted the job. From the moment the crew arrived every worker was professional and friendly on many different levels. These guys got busy immediately by laying down a row of plywood to protect the grass from getting destroyed. Having trees cut down is a pain no matter the care taken by the company. The grass surfaces face a small amount of damage. It's a necessary evil, but dead trees need [to be] cut down before they damage your home. They did an excellent job at preserving the landscaping and septic drain field.

When Zeta moved through 10.28, we had a GIANT pine tree fall on our house. Thankfully no one was injured but the house was REALLY less fortunate. At a complete loss of where to start we got in touch with 770-TREE-GUY and left a message. Nick P, an amazing member of the team, returned our call first thing in the morning. His first question and voiced concern was for our family. Making sure that all were okay. He was able to get to the house quickly to assess our new, definitely not planned, "treehouse." Upon his arrival, he told us a little about the company and how they work directly with the insurance company to take any additional stress off from us. (Clearly having a tree invade your sleeping quarters is extremely stressful.) He took his time, inspecting the damage from all angles outside, inside, and in the attic. When he was done he explained what the plan was for the removal of this awful invader. He called one of the crews that was out and asked that they come to our house as soon as they were able to. The team got there very quickly, walked the area, asked some questions regarding our septic system and got to work. They worked with focus and determination and after a few hours the tree was gone and the blue tarps were up.

Removal of tree from roof which was a complicated endeavor was a successful operation. Upon completion of the job was an issue that I was not satisfied with. They also gave me spot pricing and services on some additional trees/limbs that needed to be removed while they were on site. Their entire organization was professional, friendly and safe. Their equipment was amazing to include turf tires on the both nifty lift and bobcat. Thick plywood was placed on the edge of all concrete surfaces to prevent damage. The crews worked for 8 hours with perfect results. Their pricing was fair and competitive and I enjoyed having them at my home. I will absolutely use them again when needed.

770-Tree-Guy removed 21 fairly large trees on my property. An army of workers and equipment descended on my yard on a fine spring Tuesday morning. They performed like a well-choreographed dance company, never getting in the way of one another. The equipment used was very impressive, allowing them to work from the top down on trees so that no huge trunks were felled. Their turf-friendly equipment and work methods kept damage to my yard at a minimum, which pleased me to no end. In about 6 hours or so, they had completed their work and left my property in good shape, having cleaned up the yard and street very well. I couldn't believe they had done so much good work so quickly. The workers must be given major kudos, as their efficiency and skill were the major factor in the success of the tree removal operation. Two days later, a sub-contractor grinded the stumps of all the trees removed. Though a much smaller operation than the tree removal, the 2 workers and their equipment were equally impressive and their stump grinding work was of equally high quality.

I must also commend the office and tree removal price estimation staff for their quality, friendly, and professional work. They were always available and kind to answer my questions and requests for information.

In this case, the speed and quality of their work (facilitated by their top-rate equipment), the minimal damage to my property, and their superior customer service justified the price. It’s obvious we’re newbies to taking care of a yard, and Richard graciously spent more than an hour walking our property with us, naming plants and trees and giving advice for how to take care of them. Today was the first time I had 770-Tree-Guy remove 3 trees for me. One was a huge live pine tree that was between my fence and workshop, very tight space, the other two were very tall dead pines. Absolutely next level. We contacted them to remove a very large oak tree that was extremely close to our home. Our property posed multiple access challenges that they had to precisely navigate around. They came out twice to walk to the property and take measurements and we voiced some concerns. They managed to precisely squeeze their equipment in our backyard, a very impressive feat. The whole team worked diligently. They kept the work area clean and organized through out the process and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. Very impressed with their customer service and quality of work.

I received several estimates, and they were all about the same. 770-Tree-Guy was selected because Aaron is a certified arborist! He inspired confidence with his knowledge of tree health, how to safely remove "problem" trees, and how to improve curb appeal; increasing property value. He clearly explained his gameplan to remove 8 large trees that were diseased, overhanging the roofline, next to expensive ornamental trees, etc. Aaron dispatched TWO cranes, due to the complexity of the tree removal challenge (which 2 other companies wouldn't even attempt). His crew meticulously took their time to carefully remove each tree. The "Stars of the Show" were the crane operators and tree climbers that dismantled all trees, one limb at a time, protecting the roof, gutters, rear porch, and ornamentals! The crew started the day on a bad note, truck problems, did not make it to the job until 1:10 pm. However, everything came together and the trees were removed in record time. The stump grinding will take place today and the cut trees and branches should be removed this morning. All in all, the team did a great job.
